Job description

Assist in the analysis of financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to project or company.
Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reports available in the various financial systems.
Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending and result analysis.
Prepare budget templates and co-ordinate with divisions and departments for amendments
Execute the financial training for budgeting or other ad hoc reporting
Consolidate all divisions and departments reports
Extract transactions for divisions and departments for financial interpretation
Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make business decisions.
Apply a working knowledge of applicable regulation; verify documents for completeness and compliance with the group policies & procedures.
Use various software applications, such as spreadsheet, relational databases, statistical packages and graphics packages to assemble format data and reports.
Compile, analyze and prepare financial information reports, including budgetary forecasting.
Analyze variances to forecast and previous period results for each company in the group, reconciliation of inter-company balances between subsidiaries, assisting in consolidated accounts for a group.
Assist divisions in financial issues such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Perform miscellaneous related job duties

Desired candidate profile

Costing, budgeting, trend analysis, etc.
Banking, auditing and local financial regulations, and company financial policies and procedures.
Automated financial systems and applications software.
Principles, processes, and standards for financial analysis and reporting.
Financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards.
Business practices and procedures.
Graduate Degree in Accounting/Finance. A postgraduate qualification, such as CPA or CA required.
Proven Experience in Management Accountancy with strong analytical skills.
