- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage the seating chart and organize reservations
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Monitor the dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and tact
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming entrance area
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
· Knowledge of restaurant operations and dining room etiquette
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
